AKAR GROUP provides service to their customers in the showrooms of their production facilities in Bursa. AKAR GROUP exports to more than 55 countries, including Europe, Middle East and Central Asia, with their 100 employees.

We present our collections to our customers at 2 fairs throughout the year: Heimtextil/Frankfurt, Evteks/Istanbul.

We have designed, manufactured and exported the finest drapery, backdrop fabrics and decorative home textile products since 1980, offering our quality and style to customers all over the world.

Since 1980, we have created, designed, produced and presented to our customers the best fabrics for curtains and decorative home textiles by exporting Turkish quality and style to more than 55 countries.

Now the family’s second generation is represented by an entrepreneur who constantly strives for excellence and never forgets his roots.

In this context, we have revised the production system according to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards and ensured that it is actively applied at every point of our business.

OUR HISTORY

1980

Our story began at a retail shop started by Raif Akar in Trabzon.

1991

AKAR GROUP became the first company to officially export textiles in Russia after Communism.

1993

Our showroom and warehouse were open to service in Sochi, Russia.

1999

A showroom was opened Laleli, the heart of textilesin Istanbul.

2002

A showroom and a warehouse were opened in Moscow, one of the biggest cities of Russia.

2003

With theBERLONI trademark registration, it continued on its way as a well-known brand in Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia regions.

2007

Our production facility in Bursa was opened.

2008

A showroom and a warehouse were opened in Ukraine.

2010

Our first export to Europe was made.

The upper segment collection met our customers with the COMO PRIMA brand.

2019

The garment unit was established and ready-made product production started.

2022

By 2022, AKAR Group, which has exported 95% of its production to nearly 50 countries, makes 70% of its sales to Europe, 10% to the Far East, 20% to Russia and Central Asia.
